Sound and Soul
Rest, Reconnect, and Remember through Sound Healing
-
REST
There are many experiences that can be evoked during a sound bath, but the primary intent is to cultivate a deep sense of rest and ease in the body, the mind, and the heart.
-
RECONNECT
From this place of rest, we are able to reconnect to our experience in the present moment—the soft touch of the breath, the support of the earth, the vastness of our interior landscapes—and through this, we rediscover ourselves anew.
-
REMEMBER
In reconnecting, we have the opportunity to remember our wholeness and the true essence that exists beneath the surface, untethered from our programming and the distractions of daily life.

Music is the mediator between the life of the senses and the life of the spirit.
— Ludwig van Beethoven

About Sound and Soul
As a lifelong musician, a psychotherapist, and a yoga instructor, Emma began exploring sound healing as a way to weave together her deep love of music and her work in the healing professions. She acquired her first singing bowl in 2020 and initially used it to support her meditation practice and foster a greater sense of internal ease, creativity, and embodiment. Having personally experienced the deeply restorative and supportive effects of vibrational healing, she began to expand the offering — training with local sound healers, weaving sound into her public yoga classes, and eventually offering private and public sessions around the Bay Area. She has offered over 200 sound baths; hosted international retreats; and played in a range of spaces, from her home studio to the stage at the Fillmore.
Emma created Sound and Soul in order to support others in their journey towards greater wholeness, aliveness, and connection to self. She provides a range of sound healing offerings, including private sound baths, private sound journeys, small group sound baths, and corporate/large group sound baths. All offerings are outlined in further detail on the Offerings and Events page.
Emma has completed the Sound Bath Training with Guy Douglas and Simona Asinovski, creators of the Sound Healing Symphony and Sound Meditation Presents. In addition to sound healing, Emma is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT #123356) in San Francisco and teaches public yoga classes around the Bay Area.

“Emma's sound bath is an incredible experience. She creates a wonderful and healing landscape of sounds and vibrations that truly wash over you and feel like a weighted blanket. I never feel as relaxed nor as calm as I do leaving that class!”

“Emma is an incredibly gifted sound healer, and I'm so grateful to have found her sound bath offerings. She creates a beautiful journey with each sound bath, providing a space to relax, look inward, find clarity, and let go of the things that no longer serve. Emma is intuitive and warm, and she creates an environment that is welcoming, safe, and transformative every time. Plus, her variety of instruments just sound really good and feeling them throughout your entire body is an incredible feeling. Thank you, Emma, for sharing your gift! ”
